Who is responsible

Quivamangowhistle Media Ltd is responsible for personal information it processes in operating this website and handling editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 18 Alder Street, Manchester M4 5EB, United Kingdom; company number 14837261. Contact [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject for information requests.

Reading the website

These pages do not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, remote fonts or embedded social widgets. Images, styles and application scripts are served as website files. Like ordinary web hosting, delivering a page involves technical information such as your IP address, requested path, browser details and request time. Hosting infrastructure may process access and security logs to operate and protect the service.

Where we process technical data for security, troubleshooting and reliable delivery, we rely on our legitimate interests in maintaining a safe and functional publication. We do not use the supplied application code to build reader profiles or sell personal information.

The local message tool

The contact script sheet processes your entries in the current page to construct a plain-text preview. It does not submit them to a server, call an AI service or save them in cookies or localStorage. Copying uses your device's clipboard when supported and permitted. Downloading creates a text file on your device.

The application does not deliberately retain the draft after you leave the page, but browser autofill, page restoration, clipboard history, extensions and device backups may have their own behaviour. Clear those through your device or browser controls if necessary.

If you email us

When you send an email, we receive the address, message content, attachments and ordinary email metadata you provide. We use these to review enquiries, assess corrections, respond and keep a proportionate editorial record. Our basis is our legitimate interest in managing correspondence and maintaining accurate coverage, or compliance with a legal obligation where applicable.

Do not send sensitive personal records or information you are not authorised to share. We retain ordinary correspondence only as long as needed to address the matter and maintain a relevant record. We review ongoing need and remove information that is no longer necessary, subject to any legal requirement or genuine dispute. A published correction may remain as part of the editorial record without retaining unnecessary contact details.

Service providers and disclosure

Hosting and email providers may process information needed to deliver their services. We do not publish private correspondence merely because it is received. Information may be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legitimate legal rights. Where a service involves international transfers, applicable data protection requirements and appropriate safeguards must be addressed.

Your rights and choices

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights are not absolute; we will explain any applicable limitation. We may request proportionate information to verify identity before disclosing personal data.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or an applicable local supervisory authority. We welcome an opportunity to address a concern first. See Cookies for browser storage information. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
